Polylactic acid (PLA) filters used in Newsha pyramid tea bags are made by one of the most reputable companies in South Korea. PLA material / Mesh consists of natural fibers (corn starch) and has been recognized by the Food and Drug Administration of the USA, Germany and Korea.
